Big Change In Canadian Films
While most Canadians love their American neighbors, they also loathe the idea of becoming the ‘51st’ US state, citing millions of cheap hand guns, a two-tier justice system, bankrupting medical costs, wide spread financial fraud and a corrupt ‘Deep State’ that goes back further than the ‘American Revolution’. Now US President Trump wants to impose a 100 per cent tariff on movies produced outside his country, a move timed to change the Canadian film landscape, although its not clear, how such a tax would work, given how intertwined the global film industry is:
